Sitting behind my sewing machine in front of the four large windows, I look at the mottled birches and the immense conifer completely enveloped by the last snow. We did not cut the two entwined maple trees near the house. In the freezing cold of January, their movement creates a sort of high-pitched creak, like a dull complaint.
The idea of a "fashion house in the trees" has been simmering for some time. I am attached to the expression, as if it had shown me the path to follow in recent years.
I hope that this new studio will become a space for research and celebration dedicated to the joy of creating with you.
