During the creation of this collection, every time I check the time, it is either 5:55, 12:12, or 16:16. This phenomenon, where the hour and the minutes display the same digits, is called a "mirror hour." One might think that space-time is vast and that someone, somewhere, must be watching over us... The time duplicates itself on my phone, on the stove, or on my car's dashboard for weeks. Each time, I am surprised before returning to my collection with a lighter heart, feeling that I am not entirely alone.
