Text & Textile — 8
I attend the construction of my workshop. Every day I watch two men build the extension of my house. I am beginning to better understand the language of the architect, I quickly saw a volume appeared, then openings and soon walls. I ask myself ton of questions a day — a construction site is full of unpredictable events and surprises.
Through this, I save myself time to sketch and dream about the new collection. A dress is the result of a series of choices, aesthetic and functional (there is no better exercise than examining the seams of a garment). The other day, I drew a heart with a red marker on my wood framing. It will soon be covered with layers of pale pink isolant and sweet-smelling cedar coating.
